Our business development efforts and funding are geared towards transitioning technology from a research environment into the commercial setting. On a merit basis, we provide funding to companies at various levels that have the following characteristics:

• Well-protected intellectual property
• Quantum versus incremental potential commercial impact
• Clear technology/product development path
• Relatively inexpensive market validation within a 1-2 year commercial time horizon
