Mesh++ Making Internet Accessible to Students in Need

Partnering with the City of Champaign, Unit 4, Ameren, and i3 Broadband, Illinois Ventures Portfolio company Mesh++ installed WI-FI equipment at the Shadowwood Mobile Home Park. The project, which was funded by a $20,000 grant from the UC2B Community Benefit Fund, will support nearly a third of the students in the local school district. As more schools and households opt for remote learning, internet access is crucial to accommodate e-learning lessons, and video conferences with instructors and peers.
